Information for Attendees

Dates and Times

The event will take place on the following dates and times:

Friday 23rd August 4pm – 12am

Saturday 24th August 12pm – 1am

Sunday 25th August 12pm – 1am

Campers can arrive from 12pm on Friday to setup tents.

You must have a valid ticket for the specific day or hold a weekend ticket. Closing times may change depending on entertainment and bar closing times. We will keep you updated on closing times.

Entry, Tickets and Wristbands

On entry you will be searched by Security Staff. Where necessary, children will also be searched by security staff. All bags and other items will also be searched for banned items. Please use the bins provided to get rid of any banned items prior to being searched.

CCTV cameras are in operation at the entrance to the site and at strategic locations around the event field.

You must bring a hard copy or e-ticket with you to the event and the following form of ID:

– Passport

– Photo Driving Licence

– PASS Approved Card

Under 18’s will not be permitted entrance, unless accompanied by an adult.

Parents are encouraged to write their name and phone number on Children’s (0-12) wristbands.

Taxi Service There will be a taxi rank at the festival to be utilised when you wish to leave the site. Please book taxi’s to the event in advance to prevent disappointment and/or waiting times. Please have your ticket available when accessing the event road, as this may need to be checked by security or the traffic management team.

By car (Parking) Please purchase car park tickets in advance and follow the directions on the attached drawing and signage on the event road. Have your car park pass to hand when accessing the car park field. Access the event from the Brockworth (Court Road) end of the event road. When leaving the event, you must head North towards Churchdown.

By Car (Drop off/Pick Up) – The drop off/pick up point is approximately 1 mile away from the event at the Court Road Shops.

By Foot

The event can be accessed on foot from Churchdown or Brockworth. Please use the North Bound Carriageway when on Brockworth Road, as this is a pedestrianised zone. The entrance point from Churchdown is the first gate into the entrance field. The entrance point from Brockworth is the first gate to the South of the car park field. Do not park on Brockworth Road or surrounding residential roads. When leaving the event exit via the same gates as you entered. Please respect our neighbours by keeping the noise levels down and off peoples properties. Use the bins provided for waste.

Banned Items

NO Bottles or other containers of liquid (Over 100ml in contents)

NO Alcohol

NO Glass of any description

NO Food

NO Fireworks, Flares or other Pyrotechnics

NO Kites or Other flying equipment (RC Planes or Drones)

NO Drugs

NO item that can be used as a weapon

All the above will be confiscated if found on your person. There is no guarantee that the items will be returned to you. Where deemed necessary by staff, the Police will be contacted to assist in matters requiring their assistance.

Challenge 25 and Refusal to Sell Alcohol

The event operates the Challenge 25 scheme, and will ask to see identification during entry, whilst purchasing alcoholic beverages, or where deemed necessary to ascertain the age of the individual (drinking alcoholic beverages, smoking etc)

The Event organisers have the right to evict anyone drinking under the age of 18 and anyone involved in the supply of alcohol to persons under the age of 18.

Purchases

The majority of kiosks and marquees around the venue will only accept purchases made by Debit/Credit Card at the point of purchase.

There will be a small amount of cash bars/kiosks.

The Big Top bar will stop selling alcoholic beverages at 1am

Performances and Entertainment

We have allotted times for each performer over the weekend but these are subject to change, due to travel issues, adverse weather, illness and other unforeseen circumstances. We will endeavour to keep you updated via social media and on-site announcements. Please sign up or follow us on all media platforms.

Live music will stop at 11pm on each event day. All entertainment will stop by 1am at the latest.

Respect our Neighbours

The event is surrounded by local residents and the villages of Brockworth and Churchdown. Please respect our neighbours and local community. Without their support the event would not go ahead.

Please use waste bins provided and keep noise to a minimum when leaving the event.

Bus Service

The bus service can be pre-purchased online for the pick up service to the event. Bus tickets departing the festival can be purchased from the bus depot for £5 cash only.

Buses are able to stop at any bus stop on request along this route.

At 9pm the first bus will leave Witcombe Cider Festival. From there on buses will leave the festival when full. At quiet times you might have to wait 15-30 minutes for the bus to fill up.

Camping Information

Campsite access from 12:00 Friday 23rd August to Monday 26th August 12:00.

Camping is per person, not per tent.

No Camper vans or live-in vehicles. Only tents.

Over 18’s only.

Only people with a camping ticket/wristband are permitted access to the camp site. No guests are allowed to enter the campsite without a ticket.

You must have valid ID (Passport or Driving Licence).

All persons entering the campsite will be searched for any banned items (Weapons, Drugs, Alcohol, Glass) See banned items list below.

Fire Safety

NO FIRES, BARBECUES or FIRE PITS are permitted on the camp site at any time.

Smoke in the designated smoking area. Do not smoke in your tent.

  • Animals
  • Drones
  • Gazebos
  • Glass – absolutely no glass is allowed on site for safety reasons
  • Large stereo systems
  • Illegal substances
  • Portable laser equipment and pens
  • Unauthorised film or video equipment
  • Audio recorders
  • Air horns
  • Megaphones
  • Fireworks, flares and Chinese or sky lanterns
  • Any item which may reasonably be considered for use as a weapon
  • Gas Canisters
  • Nitrous Oxide
  • Petrol Burners
  • Any form of aerosol over 250ml
  • Unauthorised items for trading, including any goods using unauthorised event logos

Food & Drink

Do not bring excessive amounts of food, cigarettes and alcohol. The following is permitted to be consumed within the campsite:

EITHER 8 cans of beer or lager or cider OR 1 bottle of wine (decanted into a plastic bottle) per person. Strictly no spirits or hard liquor are allowed.

Please note searches will be undertaken upon entry to ensure this is complied with.

Food vendors will be available in the event field until closing times and a breakfast vendor will be available at the camp site entrance from 0700 on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Refuse & Site Clearance

Please use the bins provided to dispose of waste. Segregate waste using the recycling station.

On leaving the campsite, please take all tents, clothing and any other items with you.
